Brent Dawkins has over 20 years of product and industry marketing expertise with global high technology and software firms. Throughout his career, his efforts have resulted in maximizing sales and marketing performance for companies like IBM, JD Edwards, VMware, AT&T, Sterling Commerce and Amber Road.
Most recently, through his own marketing consulting business, Brent assisted a number of leading software companies in boosting average deal sizes through successful product and industry marketing strategies. While at JD Edwards, Brent oversaw the most successful reselling partnership in the company’s history with $20 million in first year sales. As the product marketing leader at Amber Road, his solution selling strategies and sales enablement practices supported 28% year-over-year revenue growth. Brent’s passion for instilling the voice of the customer within all sales and go-to-market assets makes him a valued new member of the Mereo team and the firm’s clients.
Brent holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Transportation & Logistics from Iowa State University. He has completed the Pragmatic Marketing training curriculum for Product Management and Product Marketing. Additionally, he is well versed in CEB’s Challenger Selling and Marketing Models. When not educating companies on the best ways to grow their business, Brent spends his free time coaching youth ice hockey.
