Dana came to Mereo from Miller Heiman Group where he served in several leadership roles, focused on the turnaround of under-performing business units and developing new lines of business, products and strategies. As Vice President of Client Engagement, Dana was responsible for the successful development of Miller Heiman’s first consulting and engagement practice; helping clients transform their sales organizations to achieve total operational performance improvement and sustained financial success. Focusing on change leadership, business process integration, sales methodologies and enablement, he was instrumental in creating consistency and measurable performance improvement in client implementations across the global channel, improving client retention and driving recurring revenue of more than $120 million over five years.

Prior to his tenure with Miller Heiman Group, Dana helped build and transform many companies into highly profitable, sustainable businesses, creating tremendous customer and employee loyalty and significant value for shareholders. Those roles including founding and serving as CEO of Resolution Software, where Dana successfully built the organization to become one of the leading mid-market CRM software integrators in the world, serving clients such as HP, Lucent, Microsoft and other industry leaders in the United States and several foreign markets. Under Dana’s leadership, Resolution Software grew from zero-client starting point to more than 200 clients in less than three years, successfully positioning the company for a strategic buyout with a publicly traded company.

Before starting Resolution Software, Dana was recruited to MIS Inc. to lead their sales and marketing organization in becoming the leading provider of investment accounting and portfolio management solutions to insurance companies and other financial services organizations. Under Dana’s leadership, MIS was successful in attaining a 65% market share within the insurance industry, driving record sales and creating a $20 million recurring revenue stream with a 96% renewal rate over six years. Dana was also instrumental in completing the sale of MIS to SunGard Data Systems, where he remained to serve as Vice President to develop and launch the company’s first Investment Services Outsourcing business, partnering with Bank of New York and others to provide portfolio accounting and trade settlement services to insurance companies.

Earlier in his career, Dana also served as President of Apscore International, a software development company based in Sydney, Australia, as Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships for Infusionsoft, a SaaS-based marketing automation firm based in Phoenix, Arizona, and at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), where he worked with faculty, consultants and instructional designers to develop and implement leadership programs with many of CCL’s most visible and successful clients, such as John Deere, British Petroleum, Kone, Motorola, Vought Aircraft Industries, Sara Lee, Yankee Candle and many others.

Dana received his Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Northern Colorado.
