Paul Foreman is a 30-year veteran of the technology industry. He has developed and executed strategies for success in a number of global markets. Paul is equally comfortable in the fast pace of the startup world as well as the more structured enterprise.

Paul spent nine years at Dell Inc. Recruited initially to form the first Network Sales Division in Dell UK, he then launched and ran the European server business, prior to arriving in Austin, Texas to run Worldwide Server Product Marketing. During his tenure in this and other senior roles in the US, he developed sales and support processes to enable growth of the sales of complex technology within the Dell business model, as well as developed awareness and education campaigns to industry groups and partners. Latterly as Vice President of the Enterprise Systems Group, Paul had responsibility for the sales of server and storage technology across the small and medium business sector accounting for over half of Dell’s US unit sales. His success allowed Dell to grow to become the number one volume supplier of servers in the US.

Prior to his career at Dell Inc., Paul spent 12 years at Rank Xerox (UK) Ltd, the UK subsidiary of Xerox Corporation. Here he performed a number of senior sales and marketing roles involving Xerox’s advanced product ranges before developing his knowledge of personal computer market in the UK dealer channel.

More recently Paul has been an angel investor and adviser to Austin’s early stage business community, and has performed a number of consulting engagements focused on enabling sales success for both startup companies and corporations evolving new sales models. He has a deep understanding of the challenges in aligning sales structure and tools to a company’s product offering and its target customer’s behavior at critical points in the company’s maturity, in a variety of markets.

Paul was born in the UK and is a naturalized citizen of the USA. He holds a BA (Hons) degree from the University of West London. Residing in Austin, TX with his wife, family and dogs, Paul enjoys the local music scene, restaurants and trails.
