Sean Rollings is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of leadership in product marketing, industries, product launch and commercialization & marketing strategy. His focus has been in B2B Cloud software and technology companies including Oracle, NetSuite, E2open, Adaptive Insights and BlackLine.
Sean is a six-time vice president of product marketing at companies from start-ups to Fortune 500, leading teams of up to 30 across the product marketing and sales enablement disciplines. Sean is a builder and at each stop has created corporate and product positioning and messaging using the Market Leadership methodology to create provable market differentiation from the competition. He has developed a methodology for new product introductions, or product launches, that considers the plan, build, launch and grow components of a product lifecycle. He has been a close partner with sales in strategy, methodology and enablement.
Sean is a cross-functional leadership Jedi. He is known for identifying gaps, assembling cross-functional representatives that need to work together — but just do not realize it or accept it (yet) — and turning them into a juggernaut team for positive change.
His first launch experience was the E Business Suite at Oracle. He then parlayed that love for launches to then introduce a launch process at NetSuite, E2open, Adaptive Insights and BlackLine. Sean has also verticalized just about every company he has worked for across marketing, sales, services, customer success and product. The result is not only TAM expanding growth; it also creates teams that learn the value of collaboration and the thrill of team accomplishment.
Sean earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical & Materials at Vanderbilt University. He earned an MBA and Master of Engineering Management from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. When not working, you will find Sean and his family outdoors near the mountains or the ocean.
