Pete Lubeski
Principal
Pete Lubeski brings over 20 years of experience of creating and delivering sales training, coaching, leadership development, and systems training to organizations in the financial services, software and call center industries. Pete’s 15 years of prior success in B2B and B2C sales, sales management, and sales leadership well-positioned him as a dynamic and strategic sales training professional.
Pete joins Mereo from 961 Partners where he is the Founder and Principal. 961 Partners offers strategic sales training, coaching, leadership development and call center expertise for SMB organizations.
Prior to starting 961, Pete was the Director of Global Sales Training and Enablement for a global enterprise SaaS organization. At PGi, headquartered in Atlanta, Pete drove the vision and execution of global onboarding, new hire training, software systems and continuing sales development for both direct and indirect channels. Training deliveries included live/virtual live instructor-led classroom training, live events and webinars, combined with asynchronous e-learning curriculum, video role-play, software simulation and certification. Software used for live and on-demand training delivery included Microsoft Office, Skype for Business, Brainshark, Rehearsal, Commercial Tribe, Adobe Connect, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Presenter, Camtasia Studio, GlobalMeet, WebEx, GoToMeeting, Saba, TalkPoint, SFDC, Influitive and Jive.
As Vice President of Training for Citi and AFC, Pete was responsible for the startup and operation of two corporate learning universities. Leading instructional designers and trainers, Pete helped his team create and deliver instructor-led and on-demand training to over 2,500 U.S. employees. Curricula included a six-week new hire program, 12-week sales development program and a 16-week leadership development program. Training content focused on mortgage loan origination, refinancing and servicing; individual insurance, investments and securities; and retail financing and commercial lending.
Prior to his transition to training and development, Pete’s successful career in sales began as an individual contributor in mortgage loan origination and insurance sales, leading up to Regional Vice President of Sales and Operations. Pete’s employment and experience was provided by Security Pacific Bank, American General Insurance, AFLAC, Associates First Capital, Citibank, CitiFinancial and Citicorp Trust Bank.
Pete lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, five children and six grandchildren. He enjoys hiking, cooking and golfing. Pete has volunteered his time to Junior Achievement, AIESEC, Special Olympics, Little League Baseball and his church.
