Josh Hardy

Principal

Josh Hardy is a seasoned marketing and product management executive with over 25 years of experience leading high-performing teams, and executing sales and marketing programs within the high-tech, cloud and software industries. His experience has spanned all aspects of marketing and product management — with over 12 years in product management and an equal number of years leading product marketing, demand generation, digital marketing, and overall general management for both mature and cutting-edge products and solutions. He has been a key part of globally known B2B and B2C companies, including CompuServe Network Services, UUNET, MCI WorldCom, America Online (AOL), Sterling Commerce, IBM and Axway.

Josh was most recently with Axway where he joined as VP of Global Product Marketing and within a year earned promotion to SVP, Global Marketing. In this role, Josh was instrumental in driving the GTM and launch of Axway’s AMPLIFY platform. While transforming Axway’s marketing processes, he partnered with Mereo to overhaul the annual sales kickoff events to enhance revenue enablement and performance, to align global sales and marketing teams with value-based solution messaging, and to build demand generation programs that focused on multi-solution buying agendas versus point products. These initiatives created substantial and lasting value to the business.

Prior to Axway, Josh was with IBM’s Industry Solutions division as Global Program Director. Here he led a high-performing global product marketing team in the GTM strategy, messaging and positioning of the Sterling Integration portfolio.

This billion dollar portfolio consisted of on-premises, cloud and fully managed software solutions for B2B integration, managed file transfer (MFT) and payments. Prior to IBM acquiring Sterling Commerce, Josh led both product marketing and product management for the B2B Integration Services.

Early in his career, Josh worked with numerous SaaS and Managed Services solutions in both the B2B and B2C markets — including solution areas within networked storage, network security, consumer internet services and secure remote access.

Josh earned his MBA from The Ohio State University – Fisher College of Business in March 2006 with a focus on International Business and Strategy & Execution. He also completed his undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University in 1998 with a double major in Marketing and Transportation & Logistics. He considers himself a life-long learner and never shies away from a challenge. When not working, Josh takes to the outdoors to enjoy hobbies throughout every season.
